Last two performances in l’Île à la mer tour

After a full house at the Église St-Joseph in Rivière-des-Praries, we turn toward our last two concerts in our Montréal swing…tonight we are at the Salle Henri-Lemieux in Lasalle, and tomorrow afternoon finish the tour with an afternoon program at the Mirella and Lino Saputo Théâtre in St-Léonard. It has been 10 days of great music-making with Joseph, and a real pleasure to deepen our appreciation of this repertoire during these six concerts.

Tomorrow night in Rivière-des-Praries

The next concert in our tour with Joseph Petric happens tomorrow night (8pm) at the St-Joseph church in Rivière des Praries that is part of the Maison de la Culture complex there. We had a nice house last night at NDG – one of our friends took this snapshot. Until Friday…

QStG on Villa-Lobos website

Dean Frey has put together an incredible site dedicated to the music of Heitor Villa-Lobos. He is a music-lover that lives in Red Deer, Alberta and also happens to be the director of the library there. The quartet is mentioned on the site, as we will play the first Villa-Lobos quartet during our upcoming tour in and around Montréal. Here’s the article:
